We have created a flexible framework for scraping data from several social networks and aggregating them on a windows mobile device.

SNOB is flexible because you can extend the web service and add new networks without needing to change the client application. To add a new social network to the system, just write a new web service.

No account is needed on any of the social networks we have implimented so far. All the back ends are written in PHP, but any language can be used, and they can be hosted on any server.
